Julia Maja

Julia Maja has run Julia’s Chick/ens for two years in Khayelitsha, Cape Town. She is a single mother of two and has lived in Khayelitsha for over five years. The enterprise sells chicken and other meats to roughly 15 customers per day. Considering COVID-19 decreased the business’ revenues, Julia used her loan to purchase a stove and a fridge to boost her production. With these new supplies, Julia and her employees will be able to attract more customers.
