Bukelwa Ndzabela

Bukelwa Ndzabela has more than 16 years of experience running BPN’s Place. She has two small businesses. One of them is a butchering business where she sells pork, beef, and sausage. Her other business is a fish shop and kitchen in which she sells fresh vetkoeks, chicken livers, burgers, fries, and fish + chips. Due to the rising oil inflation in South Africa, her businesses have been declining. With her loan, she has supported them by purchasing a mixer to optimize her fishery and a deep freezer to prevent food waste in her meatshop— two items that are integral to increasing the productivity and profitability of her businesses.
